Happy Monday Crafting Friends!

I just want to clarify a few things that have come up in the last two weeks.

1. The shop will be open until May 29. There is still plenty of time to come stock up on gift ideas.

2. I’m not moving out of Ashland. This is home!

3. The majority of supplies are for sale (with a few exceptions). They just aren’t laid out in full public view. A. I don’t have that kind of space!! B. I’m finishing up all the sewing projects and haven’t taken a lot of time for this endeavor yet. Please ask about beading supplies, resin craft, candle making, fabric, and leather.

4. The antique sewing machines on display are for sale. They are not functional at this time.

Tammy here. I’ve been absent from social media for a minute. I love this little shop. The whirr of sewing machines, the hiss click of the iron. The music when the doorbell chimes. Hooey’s snoring under the table. People walk in and say they feel a peace here. It’s all God. It always has been.

So it breaks my heart a bit to announce we have made the decision to close our doors.

Scheduling has become a nightmare. Wait times have gone from days to weeks, some to months. This is unacceptable. The projects that are currently here are being finished. No new machines or alterations are being taken.

All handcrafted items in the gift shop are now 50% off except Christmas which is 75% off. Fabric can be taken home with you by reasonable offer. Beads, resin supplies, yarn, and fixtures will soon have price tags as well. Some of the machines will be put on sale in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.

If you donated something for display and would like to retrieve it, please do. If you have a gift certificate we are honoring those up until closing day. We are still taking Chamber Bucks as well.

We look forward to seeing everyone at craft shows in the future. We love you Ashland and all of Southwest Kansas for giving us an amazing experience. Come support 506 S Main Street until May 30, 2026. See you soon!
