What I believe to be a 1920s or 1930s US Navy shawl collar jacket. It is in excellent condition with some unusual details: It is inscribed “S. Hunt USN” on the inside, It lacks the waist and button grommets of the WWII version, and has early metal buttons sometimes seen on WWI USN pullover denim shirts. It measures a reasonable 20x25. If anyone has any additional information about this variant please reach out. Currently NFS but I will consider any offers.

Variations on a theme - Two herringbone twill USMC jackets from WWII. The P-41 jacket (top) was the standard jacket of the marines for the first years of the war until the need for more pocket space necessitated the design of the P-44 (bottom). The P-44, first issued in 1944, added two large pockets to the front placket, a cover to the breast pocket along with two additional buttons to the front closure. Very fun to have both these jackets at the same time for comparison. Hard to say which I prefer - what do you think?

1960s Maverick Blue Bell pop art jacket. It is constructed from “hot dogs and dill pickles” fabric, an iconic 60s counter culture pop art pattern, and produced by a heritage American workwear company. Absolutely quintessential 1960s piece.
