PROJECT 01: “RING THE BELL”

Every year, 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer. Our inaugural project, “Ring the Bell”, was designed to celebrate the milestones that these children make along their journey. We hope that this project will inspire our community to come together and stand by these children as they continue to fight their battles.

“As a student at the , I always loved the tradition of the chapel bell. When I completed a milestone or did well on a test, I would celebrate by ringing it. The sound of the chapel bell can be heard across campus and inspires other students that they too can achieve their goals. For many children in hospitals around the world, the sound of a bell can mean much more. It signifies the end of their chemotherapy treatments. It is the sound of this bell that inspires all of us to persevere. One-World’s inaugural project celebrates each child who has already rung the bell and every child still fighting their battle."
