Just over two weeks until the legends frisson inc, flying too close to the sun, and Coffin Torture help us get loud and rowdy for one of our final shows of 2026!

Athens-based Frisson is a a four-piece post and sludge-metal band riding their 2025 debut EP, A White Noise, to the Flicker stage.

Created in Asheville, NC, flying too close to the sun is a three piece instrumental band creating a truly unique musical form that lands beautifully in the post-rock genre.

Hailing from upstate South Carolina, Coffin Torture is a death sludge two-piece band bringing their swampy and writhing new album, SEISM, to Athens.

Shows start at 8:30. $12 tickets at the door. Come out for one of our last shows of the year!

We've got a hell of a show coming up with the homies Auralayer, Mean Green and Beast Mode on 10/10 at Flicker Bar!

Blending the intensity of Mastadon with the bombastic tones of Torche, Greenville, SC born Auralayer take these metal influences to a higher psychedelic realm.

Mean Green is a three-piece sludge outfit out of Boone, NC blending crushing sludge, classic rock swagger, and raw Southern grime that hits hard and leaves a mark. Check out their latest album "Castle" available on their Bandcamp page!

Athens-own metal lords Beast Mode bring their four-piece, horror-inspired blackened thrash center stage with the fastest and heaviest riffs the Classic City has ever produced.

Shadebeast is more than any one band, any one show or any one record. We celebrated 9 years with the people who have embraced us and what is means to unabashedly loud and abrasive. Huge thanks to everyone who has supported what we do. There is a lot more to come and we're excited to see y'all again for our 10 Year Anniversary next year.
