I have three of these beautiful spindles, packaged with an ounce of roving and dyed locks to get you started. The kits are available at market Saturday or online!

A collab with Mike West Woodworking, the whorl is made from walnut heartwood and the spindle shaft is maple. It has been treated with Walnut Oil to give the spindle a long lasting finish. It can be used as a top whorl or bottom whorl spindle.

The roving and locks come from a farm in northwest Ohio.

This 1.4oz spindle is a great beginner tool as it will spin just fast enough for you to keep up and hone your drafting skills. I have a hand-spinning playlist on YT to help you figure it out! Linktree in bio 👆🏼

The intense orange with light red speckling would make a great fall cowl, hat, or mitts. If you'd like an accent color, the mini DK in deep red Merry would be perfect!
