School is back in session, and that means it’s time for our annual Back to School Scavenger Hunt with Brooks! Come early to try on demo shoes and to begin forming teams of 5 or less. At 6pm, we’ll explain the full rules and hand out the list of items to find. You must take a selfie of your team with each item you find. All items are worth different points values, but you won’t find out the point values until the end! The teams with the most points will take home Brooks swag!

Diapers for our Athens Area Diaper Bank community diaper drive keep rolling in! We will collect diapers through Monday night in both stores, and we will accept Venmo donations () through Monday night, as well. All donations earn raffle tickets (30 diapers/$15 per ticket) for great prizes like shoes from Brooks, swag bags from ASICS, gift cards to Fleet Feet, prize packs from Journey Juice & Cafe Marbella, great gifts from Well Adjusted Athens and beem light sauna athens, and so much more!

With so many folks training for longer fall and winter races, we are getting a lot of questions about fueling on the run. We thought we would ask some of our staff and friends to tell you their favorites!

A general rule of thumb is 25g of carbs every 30 minutes. That’s usually one gel or a serving of chews. You might need more based on several factors. Stop in today and let us help you figure what fuel will be YOUR go to!

It’s almost time for the most fun, most chaotic event of the year! Join us on Monday, Aug. 31st at 6pm at Fleet Feet Athens for our annual Brooks Back to School Scavenger Hunt! Here’s how it works ➡️ Make or join a team of 5 or less people. Every group gets a list of items. Your team has to find and take selfies with as many items as possible in the hour time limit. 🚨 New anti-chafe product in stores now 🚨 Meet run_slick! Run Slick applies clear and helps reduce friction on thighs, bra lines, underarms, waistbands, chest, and other high-friction areas—so you can stay focused on moving.

Co-owner, Catherine, has been wear testing Run Slick all summer before bringing the product into stores. And in a summer of constant heat & humidity, it’s now the only anti-chafe product she will use.

Felipe from Run Slick will be at our AthHalf training run on Saturday, September 5th with samples to try!
