Happy National Handloom Day 🙏🏻
As a child, I never knew what a handloom was.
I just knew that whenever my mom or grandmother wore those sarees, they looked so beautiful. We grew up watching those graceful drapes, the soft folds, and the elegance they carried. Even my brother would admire them, but none of us knew the fabric, the weave, or the story behind it.
Years later, I learned that every one of those sarees was brought to life by the hands of a weaver—woven with patience, skill, and generations of tradition.
Today, Akshaya is my small way of honoring those hands.
To every weaver, thank you for preserving our heritage, one thread at a time. Because of you, our childhood memories continue to live on in every beautiful handloom.
With love,
Swetha ❤️
