One thing I’ve personally been getting SICK of is this consultant class bs. The Platner thing happened, but idk if things are changing lol??? If you watch an indie run vs. a conventional run, you’ll FEEL the difference.
Frank Fang is technically giving a master class in “fck-it-we-ball-itics,” style politics lmao (seriously look at his page. It’s cool 🤷🏾♀️). Another cool indie runner is Sam Foster. He actually ran for mayor on his FIRST run and fell short of 44-ish votes. For an INDIE RUN, that’s impressive.
I’m getting annoyed with the policy posers (and they’re kinda easy to spot ngl. Just watch how they behave between elections). On the “red side,” you have cat father Curtis Sliwa. He’s run for mayor more times than Frank Fang (former Mississauga city council) AND YET, between elections he’s in the streets DOING and LIVING the work. Look how active his page is.
He is ABOUT THIS S**T 24/7. He lives it (unlike some of these Mamdanicore/Obamacore coded “official,” bros. Get a personality lol 😬🤷🏾♀️)
Also, I know we love this whole “hot swole walks like it’s heavy Equinox coded Dem bro” s**t. It’s cool, it’s fine. It’s what works for now.
We have to get through midterms & ‘28.
So we’re obviously sucking it up and voting blue rn. However, think toward the future. If the candidate FEELS weird, they’re prob a policy poser and should prob chill lol 😬🤷🏾♀️
