big top tent jacket

mid-century red and baby blue twill. it's woven with yarn dyed long staple cotton. 1" stripes with yellow ticking in between are woven, not printed.

a-line tenty silhouette with my new favorite accessory--a capelet.

speaking of accessories, jackets are kind of accessories IMO. Obviously they are functional. But I don't think they should all be so serious. They should be fun. Fun jackets make a simple situation way more fun.

A chore jacket with a change in shape. It's cut from water-repellent cotton deadstock with an A-line swing, classic chore jacket details, and a removable capelet.

Selvedge Swing Jacket

10oz Japanese selvedge denim in indigo indigo

Cropped a-line silhouette with core jacket details and clavicle denim construction..and a removable capelet. Hell, it'd look cute over a light wash denim jacket if you have one.

This denim is so incredibly beautiful. Oh it'll fade and wear so nicely.

the making of the vibes skirt

where I went completely rogue and abandoned all formal teachings of fashion design.

I didn't make a pattern. I started with my basic shorts block and kind of designed and made said design as I went along.

It's 3 layers silk gazar and organza. All clean finished. There are pockets! This was such a great exercise in being less formal and trying to achieve perfection in order. It worked out.

Unfortunately vibe designing means there really is only one.
