It’s been a while since I showed my face. Here it is.
A bit of proof of life. And more importantly evidence that I’m not always in paint sweats and a messy bun.

For those that I haven’t met yet, Hi, I’m Kel.
Doer of all the R-KI-TEKT doings.
The year has been one of assessing and navigating changing landscapes. Learning how and when to stretch and when to crouch down. I’ll be transparent and say I lost a bit of color along the way, so now I’m using the swatches I have remaining, mixing them, and making something new and beautiful. Honestly, It’s been hard, however I know nothing beautiful is achieved without having to gird and push a bit.

I thank you for joining me in this space. And I hope it provides to with the joy and inspiration it’s offered me.😘😘

I get it, color can be tricky when your dressing your home. But it doesn’t have to be.
I did a little bit of the lifting for those that may find it hard to imagine our artful objects in their spaces.
Whether you burn incense or not, these pieces offer just the right amount of play to the seriousness that life brings with it. (And we deserve moments of play)

Go on and take a walk through and begin to imagine how you can infuse a bit of joy in your space.

September feels like New Year is supposed to for me. Always charged and inspired. So I figured what better time to bring back (show of hands, who’s been here that long?) This one has been packed with discomfort. I know we all hit patches that make the ground beneath us a bit wobbly. The uncertainty of it all makes it challenging to anchor. The best we can do is our best in that moment. On that day. Trying counts and if you can say that you are better than the day before, the hour before, well that counts babe.
Difficulty will come. How you choose to manage and navigate it this time vs. previous times matters. Don’t worry about who may be observing you and tallying up your faults. Focus on improving instead of proving.
And when the dust settles, and you see your reflection again, you’ll be able to see the real growth that matters and be pleased from within. Trust the process.
