🚨🚨URGENT MISSING PERSON ALERT

Please help locate Benjamin Braithwaite, age 16, Atlanta Georgia Area.

Benjamin has been missing since Monday night (4/26) According to family, he left home without his phone and without his wallet and has not been seen since. Authorities, including SVU and APD, are involved, and search efforts are ongoing.

Benjamin is the son of Brother William Braithwaite, “Mais Oui” (ΣΔ ’84, Auburn University). His family, friends, and community are asking everyone to help spread the word as widely as possible.

Hey y’all
I wanted to give a full update since the last time I shared, Kris was still in the hospital and we were waiting on results.

He’s since been released and is recovering from open-heart surgery. What we thought was a blood clot turned out to be a tumor. Kris was diagnosed with synovial cell cardiac sarcoma a rare and aggressive cancer of the heart. And now we’ve learned the cancer has spread.

He’s scheduled for another surgery this Monday. It wasn’t planned, but the doctors believe it’s the best next step before starting chemo. He’ll begin his first round the very next day and will be hospitalized most of the week.

A lot of you have watched my baby grow up over the years. Some of you have supported this business since day one 14 years ago and have seen him go from a little boy running around in the background to a strong young man. This has been the hardest season of my life. I’m trying to keep things going as a mom and business owner, but it’s been overwhelming.

We’ve had a few amazing people step in to help with orders, and we’re over halfway through the delayed ones. But hiring consistent help takes funding I just don’t have. I’m doing what I can, but the future of the business is uncertain.

Kris had emergency open-heart surgery yesterday and thank God he made it through. What we thought were clots turned out to be a large tumor on his heart. They were able to remove most of it, and now we’re just praying it’s not cancer.

I also want to sincerely apologize that the formal email didn’t go out. Once we transferred him to Emory, it was already late, and everything happened so fast with the emergency surgery. On top of that, the hospital has had terrible internet, which has made it hard to keep up with emails and updates.

Please know I’m not ignoring anyone or trying to delay orders. I’ve been at the hospital with Kris around the clock, but I’m doing my best to manage everything from here. I’m hoping to bring in some extra help next week so we can begin moving orders out again if I’m able to step away for a few hours.

Thank you so much for your understanding, your patience, and your prayers. They mean more to me than I can ever express.

Hey family I wanted to be transparent and let you know what’s been going on behind the scenes.

Last week, my son Kris suddenly collapsed and suffered a serious fall. After rushing him to the hospital and going through several tests, doctors found massive blood clots in his heart. Since then, they’ve made three unsuccessful attempts to remove the largest one. He’s now in the ICU, and I’ve been faced with the difficult decision to move forward with open-heart surgery and transfer him to Emory. On top of that, fluid around his heart is causing dangerously low blood pressure and trouble breathing. It’s been a lot to process.

Because of this, many orders have been delayed. I’m currently making arrangements to get help shipping everything out. If you received a tracking number but haven’t seen any movement — you should see updates either today or tomorrow.

I appreciate your patience more than you know. A formal email will be going out by morning with more information. Thank you for standing by me during this time.
