Birthday Suit's mission is: "Celebrate Your Life, Your Body, and Your Abilities". Each product is independently designed and created in our Atlanta, GA studios. We make garments for beauties to feel comfortable in, with sizes from Pretty and Petite to Perfectly Plus. Stay BODY POSITIVE, confident, and strong!

I like my underwear the way I like my clothes: comfortable enough to actually LIVE in, with a fit that makes me feel good.

Cutting out our low-rise cheeky underwear pattern. This silhouette is one of my favorites because it gives a little coverage, a flattering fit around the hips, and just enough cheek to make you want to sway when you walk.

For me, designing underwear has always been about more than how it looks. It’s about how it feels when you’re moving, lounging, getting dressed, and going about your day.

Comfort and confidence should be part of the same package.

My favorite thing about this coloring book? My sketches aren’t perfect. Actually, they’re not even that great. 😂 They’re super basic, and I was never much of a sketcher.

When I was studying fashion design in college, sketching was part of the requirements, so I pushed through and did what I had to do. The truth is, I never needed a sketch to see my designs. They were already in my head, and I knew I could bring them to life with my hands.

Looking back, I love that these sketches are a reminder that there’s usually more than one way to get to where you’re going. You don’t have to do everything the traditional way. You just have to find the way that works for you and keep going.

And to everyone who has purchased my coloring book, THANK YOU. You have no idea how much that means to me. Not just as a designer, but to that little girl who started dreaming about designing clothes when she was 10 years old.

Over a decade later, those college sketches have a new life, and I’m so happy I didn’t leave them tucked away in a sketchbook.

Sometimes the things we think aren’t good enough turn out to be worth sharing after all.

Comfort and confidence have always been at the top of our design goals when it comes to under garments. From bralettes and French-cut un**es to boy shorts, thongs, high-waisted panties and low-rise cheeky styles, we want you to feel good in what you’re wearing underneath it all.

Our first lingerie collection launched in Fall 2017 with a lineup of sheer, flesh-toned beauties. Since then, we’ve continued to learn, create and refine what Birthday Suit Shop means to us.

Now we’re revisiting some of your favorite styles, introducing new ones and creating a new way to shop our intimates.

Think upgraded materials, intentional small-batch production and slow fashion that puts more thought into what we make and how we make it.

We’re not interested in making more just to make more. We want to make pieces you actually want to wear, feel good in and come back to.

We’re excited about this next chapter of Birthday Suit Shop, and we want you to be part of it.

2010 me would be so proud of where we are today.

I built my first online store at the end of fashion design school in 2010, and I’ve been going after this dream ever since.

Since then, I’ve created 3 clothing lines, had my designs sold in boutiques, designer markets and events, been featured in fashion shows, and most recently, had a bride wear one of my designs. That one will always be special!

Wearing a KMONO robe from our Remnants Collection and our Soft Racerback Bralette. Still designing. Still learning. Still figuring out how to grow this business in a way that feels good and makes sense for me.

And now, I’m getting ready for our next chapter: a quarterly subscription service designed to help you enjoy quality Birthday Suit Shop pieces all year long.

Think a curated selection of bralette and underwear styles, special access, and gifts for our members.

A little design experiment with the KMONO Mini!

I added elastic to the hem to create a whole new waistline and change the silhouette. Same KMONO, different attitude. Because sometimes all it takes is one little tweak to see a piece in a completely different way.

I’m curious… HOW WOULD YOU STYLE THIS KMONO?
Would you go:
-> Shorts with tall boots?
-> Over jeans and a fitted tank?
-> With tights and your favorite chunky shoes?
-> Or keep it loose and let the shape do its thing?

Made with Lyocell. A regenerated cellulosic fiber produced from wood pulp.

1. Naturally smooth feel: Lyocell fibers are known for their soft hand feel and smooth surface.

2. Moisture absorption: Lyocell fibers can absorb moisture, helping manage moisture next to the skin.

This week, I only got to sew ONE thing.
A faux shearling and genuine leather 3/4 sleeve KIMONO mini, and honestly, she deserves her moment!

Sometimes the work is creating.
Sometimes the work is planning.
Sometimes the work is connecting.

Being a designer isn’t just about designing and making clothes.

Some weeks, I’m at the sewing machine all day. Other weeks, I’m working behind the scenes, making moves that don’t necessarily show up on a clothing rack or in a new collection.

Lately, I’ve been working on a new distribution plan for Celebrate Your Body, creating content, building community OFFLINE, teaching sewing and crafting classes, and working toward becoming a certified yoga instructor.

That last one is a personal goal, but it’s just as important to me. Because while I’m building my business, I’m also building ME.

Entrepreneurship will have you wearing so many hats that sometimes you have to remind yourself that progress doesn’t always look like producing more.

And sometimes the work is pouring into yourself.
So, yes, I only sewed one thing this week. But trust me, I’ve been WORKING.
