WOMEN’S MONTH HIGHLIGHT:

We are thrilled to close out women’s month by introducing our friend Taylor!

Taylor was a respiratory therapist at Primary Children’s Hospital. On top of treating patients, she taught kids and their families how to continue at home treatments. As an expecting mom Taylor now schedules dialysis appointments for Intermountain Healthcare Hospitals across the state of Utah.

Meet our friend Dr. N!

Dr. Roxanna Namavar is a Board-Certified psychiatrist and fellow of the
American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, specializing in functional and
integrative medicine. Her patient-centered approach fosters a deep connection
between mind, body, and cellular health, empowering individuals to achieve
lasting well-being.
With a firm belief that the future of medicine lies in cellular health and
regeneration, Dr. Namavar integrates cutting-edge science, emotional
awareness, and spirituality into her practice. She completed her psychiatry
residency at the University of Virginia Health-System while conducting
research at the Division of Perceptual Studies, exploring the connection
between consciousness and healing.
Dr. Namavar is also a Brennan Healing Science practitioner, NADA-certified in
auricular acupuncture, and trained in hypnosis, offering a truly holistic,
science-driven approach to mental and physical well-being.

My name is Makina and I’ve been working as a Physical Therapist for 3 years. Initially, I was drawn to this field because of my love of sports and how everything in the human body works together to allow us to move. What keeps me in the profession is the opportunity I have to work with amazing patients and empower them to do things they didn’t think they could get back to. As a woman in healthcare, it’s been a privilege to be surrounded by other strong women who are helping this profession grow.
