I wish I had a better update to give. We have really tried hard to not have to do a fundraiser but it’s been one thing after another especially lately & we keep getting pushed to start one before a lot more procedures, surgeries, tests & other medical things get scheduled, discovered, etc, making things get even worse & quickly. There are so many illnesses & other issues with no end in sight. Allie was supposed to have had another surgical procedure done on her back right after the ones in her hips earlier this year but that back one was postponed due to her getting pneumonia. Early last week she was finally able to have it done. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to have worked and the problem has only gotten worse. The next step will be surgery.

Now this week she has pneumonia again and is back at the hospital. We’re waiting to find out everything that’s going on. (I will update this as soon as we know) She has been running a fever for days and she has been in bed for almost a month. Her Crohn’s disease has been in a constant flare up which has been making her have more internal bleeding, Lupus & other illnesses & problems are also causing extra numerous painful problems. She also has some kind of skin issue going on that turned both of her legs below the knee and feet bright red like a rash.

The physical and mental toll this has taken on her has been unimaginable from my perspective. I can’t imagine how she must feel day in and day out. Yet she still somehow manages to smile, keep laughing as much as possible and try and be as positive as ever which always amazes me.

As her husband and sole caregiver I’m doing anything and everything I can to take care of her and myself as well. (If I don’t take care of me I can’t take care of her) I have recently had to see a spine specialist for back & neck issues that has made all of this that much more difficult. I have to have injections done in a couple of weeks that should help me but it means more down time that I can’t do all of the things we need me to.

Any help is appreciated in more ways than you could know. Once things get better, AND THEY WILL GET BETTER, we would love to have a pool party for anyone and everyone that helps in any way. Sharing is helping.

Allie is okay but she literally has problems head to toe. Her organs are slowly failing & she even has permanent eye damage from extreme inflammation. The Crohn’s & Lupus has been destroying her entire body for most of her life. She spends most of her life in hospitals & Drs. There are so many health issues I don’t even know where to begin & they're always growing. She’s amazingly strong with such a positive attitude & still frequent joking & laughing. She impresses Drs, nurses & everyone else she interacts with on a regular basis but it’s getting more & more difficult the worse she gets. The extreme constant stress, anxiety, worry & panic attacks are way too much. She & we need a break. It’s a full time job just setting up her constant medical appointments, any issues, etc. Each part is a full time job. It often feels like we have at least 10 full time jobs, are too sick but never get a break. She’s considered a very complicated case which makes everything even more difficult.

Hello, my name is Jeremy and I’m raising funds for my wife’s continued outrageous and constantly growing medical expenses. For decades my wife Allie has battled several chronic illnesses including multiple autoimmune illnesses on top of a multitude of other serious problems mostly but not limited to as a result of the autoimmune diseases. Over time things have gotten worse and worse. Most days she’s been having to be in bed which she hates especially after recently fighting for her life after Covid gave her a bad case of Pneumonia & other issues. The hospital thought she was about to have a heart attack as well.

She has to see multiple doctors on a regular basis including rheumatologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, a dermatologist, a heart Dr, an ophthalmologist & the list goes on, just to name a few. These specialists become very expensive very quickly even with insurance. The prescriptions themselves are costing a fortune especially the special made Compound ones & just one of them is over $456/per month & insurance won’t cover because it’s Compound.🤦‍♂️

Allie has spent much of her life working multiple jobs & helping others in many ways including raising & donating for others needs, animals needs, etc. She’s done benefits, donated her time and has even saved, trained and helped save a boatload of animals. Her heart is as big as her smile so I’m trying to relieve some of the financial stress & quickly.

I also got very sick & was unable to work so that has made everything even worse & more difficult. She’s supposed to be resting & de-stressing so let’s help her be as healthy as possible. She’s the strongest person I’ve ever known & is still making jokes but you can see how much it’s finally all getting to her & it’s maker her sicker. Even a dollar helps. We are happy to trade Zen Cove pool rental time or Tshirts for ZC or Rock And Roll Handyman to help make it happen & faster.
