Sharing My Sunday Takeaway ✝️
“Unity does not demand sameness — only love.”
Each of us reflects God uniquely.
This Sunday, Rev. Pauline .s shared a distinction rooted in John 17:11 that stayed with me.
Jesus prays:
“…that they may be one, as we are one.”
She said:
“Jesus prays for oneness, not sameness.”
Reflecting on that statement, I realized how often “sameness” quietly seeps in and begins to define unity.
Sunday was a reminder that scripture shows us something deeper:
Real unity is recognizing that each person reflects God uniquely.
That resonated with me.
