Did you know that Ransburg pottery is painted on top of the glaze, not underneath it? Which means if you clean it with water, the paint can wipe right off.
Ask me how I know. 😳
I picked this up a few weeks ago at a yard sale thinking all it needed was a little cleaning.
It did not.
The good news? I now know why there was already paint loss when I bought it...apparently I wasn't the first person to learn that lesson the hard way. 😂
