I've expanded my creativity a bit after receiving a fun sewing machine - I'm now cutting and playing with t-shirts, including cutouts, lace panels, etc.
Part of the reason is that I don't like the crew neck on most t-shirts - I find myself pulling at them - so I opened it up, inserted a small modest V, and also cut ventiation holes in the sleeves (triangle pattern). I left the back of the neckline original, to prevent that little strip of sunburn that I often get just below the collar line.
Here's my first - a 2016 vintage In-n-Out burger shirt. (The lace is from the 70's - my dad used to dye lace for a living!)
Would love some ideas of what else might look good on future shirts, whether these would sell on my etsy store, etc. - help a crafty girl out!
