A little origin story post. 🍄

For years, I have wanted to sell my art, but I always put it off out of fear—fear of being judged and, ultimately, fear of failure. I put a lot of pressure on myself in everything I do and convinced myself I was just too busy, leaning heavily into my work as an event artist. Well, that led to severe burnout. Anxiety levels soared, panic attacks happened, and tears were shed. And then a friend put out a call for art vendors last December, and strangely without too much thought - I signed up. I was terrified, but I actually sold a few pieces! I’m still scared and still learning, but enjoying the ride so far. I’ve done 3 markets now, and have signed up for a few more.

TL;DR - Life is short, and the world is a dumpster fire right now. Do what you want, try new things, knowing you’ll fail sometimes, and don’t worry about being judged.
