It’s July in Texas and I don’t want to go outside. I’ve been neglecting my family and house and giving my sewing machine (who I’ve named Monica) all my attention. She’s moody and unpredictable, but when she’s working, she’s the best.

Going through all my hoarded fabric, I found a bunch of this wavy rib knit and couldn’t believe it was just sitting there! I’m not usually a purple girly, but this muted purple is so pretty!

Part 1! I’ve dreamed about doing this for years. I’m just starting my sewing era, so naturally I chose chaos - no pattern, just winging it 🙈 Mistakes were made, but it was fun! Already thinking about making her matching shorts. ✂️
