JOANN has a commitment to inspire creativity in everyone, and we realize the importance of celebrating the spirit and talent exemplified by Hispanic crafters and sewists who are widely underrepresented. The second annual JOANN Minority Grant Program will provide grants totaling $100,000 to 20 small Hispanic business owners, in need of support to help achieve their business goals. Each grant recipient will receive $5,000 in JOANN cash to help broaden their creative product supplies to further spread handmade happiness among their customers.

So excited! I was able to ethically and legally gather lots of bluebonnets yesterday thanks to a friend who has then growing on his private property!

I cannot wait until they are pressed and dried so I can start incorporating them into pieces!

As I think most of y’all are aware, Texas has lifted its statewide mask mandate as of this coming Wednesday.

I want to assure all of y’all that I (and my husband) plan to continue with our usual precautions and do our best to only visit compliant business when we do go out. In addition, I was able to get my first vaccination today and get tested every other week for work. It’s important to me that you feel safe when supporting my shop and I very much appreciate every one of y’all.
