I FOUND THE BOTTOM OF THE BINS WAY TOO FAST 😅👀

The Bins just opened in Austin, and while I found some goodies for only $1/lb, I was surprised by how quickly I ran out of things to dig through.

With clothing only and no toys or books, I’d personally stick with Goodwill Bins for variety. Maybe I caught them on a low-inventory day! 🤷🏻‍♀️

WAIT… GOODWILL HAS BOUTIQUES?! 👀♻️

I’ve only seen GICW Boutiques on social media in other states, so you KNOW I had to investigate 🔍

It’s definitely more curated than a regular Goodwill, with more name brand pieces—but the prices are higher too.

Worth it? If you’re looking for a more curated thrift experience. If you want rock-bottom Goodwill prices, I’d skip this one.

I checked out Texas Thrift Superstore so you know whether it’s a stop to shop or flop 🛍️

And honestly? Prices here range from pretty standard thrift pricing to a little higher than I’d expect from a thrift store 👀

BUT… next week changes the equation; they’re having a 50% OFF THE ENTIRE STORE sale ♻️

Georgetown might be the most beautiful small town in Texas… BUT I’M MAKING A CASE FOR SOMETHING ELSE 👀♻️

City of Georgetown, TX - Government might also be the best town in Texas 😏 I found 8 thrift stores within about 20 minutes of each other.

This means you don’t have to spend your entire day driving across Texas looking for good thrift stores. You can build an entire thrift day around Georgetown 🛒

My tip: save this reel before your next thrift trip. Pick a few stores, map out your route, and give yourself enough time to actually dig. The best thrift finds aren’t always at the first stop 👀

I saw heartening was having a $15 fill-a-bag sale 🛍️ …SO OBVIOUSLY I HAD TO GO 🚙💨

I only had ONE HOUR to shop, and somehow I managed to cram 18 into that $15 bag 😂 That’s an average of just 83¢ per item

Austin Creative Reuse is nothing like the typical thrift stores I review ♻️ It feels more like walking through an art gallery than a secondhand store 👀
