I made this dress in less than a week, you guys! We were crunched for time with me only being able to sew in the evenings, but we did it!! Lots of late nights and early mornings went into it and I can't even explain how much fun I had making it! It is absolutely stunning!!

I took some time today to make placemats. It gives me better peace of mind to know that our baby doesn't have to touch anything on or around the table when we decide to go out to eat.

I made these scrappy patchwork on half, and used a laminated fabric for the other half with a flannel backing. It's essentially waterproof and helps a lot with cleanup after dinner. They're machine washable, hang to dry. I made these different sizes. The larger one is approximately 22" x 9 1/2" and the smaller one is approximately 19" x 9 1/2".
