Spirit Dress is a Texas-based company founded, owned, and operated by UT-alum Mercer Black. That’s me pictured above with my sweet boy Campbell, who likes hiking but doesn’t like having his picture taken so much. (Ha!) Whenever you’re interacting with this page, you’re talking directly to me. Spirit Dress is and has always been a small family business. Since 2016, I have run Spirit Dress out of my home in the borderlands, where my family has lived and ranched for over 100 years in Presidio County and Marfa. In 2018, I expanded the business, and my distribution is now handled out of my cousin’s home in Houston, which is a little more central for shipping.
