At RRR we seek out premium vintage goods that will bring a touch of history and unique design to your home and garden. Let us help you find the perfect pieces to tell your one-of-a-kind story! Join us at Bloom Where You're Planted Farm near Avoca, NE for pop-up markets in April, July & September. Take in the farm's history and relaxing atmosphere as you browse in the restored 1880s barn, antique o

ne-room schoolhouse, and new retail barn. Sept. 24 - Oct. 30 2022 is our 18th annual pumpkin patch season, featuring family fun, heirloom pumpkins & gourds, antiques & vintage goods, fall decor, local artisans and delicious fall foods. We went to the Walnut Antique Show today. Although we didn't come home with too much, it was fun and beautiful weather. We took a side trip to Elk Horn to visit Fjord the troll again (and get some kringle, yummy!)

And, how clever is the name of that food truck??!?

Went to an estate sale this morning and got some great items! A bonus was the pretty hollyhocks and sweet kitties (which I didn't think to get a picture of.)

Pumpkin planting wrapped up today! We planted the squash, gourds and mini pumpkins this morning. The rest was done Monday. Feels good! 🎉

This crew is smiling because we finished planting today, with the help of Teresa's mom, Margaret. We use the same planter as the pumpkins, but since the squash and gourd seeds (and plants) are smaller, we use the inside rows and drop seeds by hand into funnels. Now we wait for germination!

Pic in comments of the ladies in action on the planter.

Today was pumpkin planting day! The rye cover crop has been drying out, and you can see how it's still doing the job of covering the soil. In the next couple of days we'll finish up with the gourds and squash.

Last week we traveled through Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin for two flea markets, and to visit four more Thomas Dambo trolls. We filled the truck, our stomachs and the camera roll. The weather was great and the barns of northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin were almost worth the trip by themselves!
