Today I’m at the Global Women’s Health & Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement Event in Cleveland with Maria Shriver—and being here feels bigger than business.
This day is deeply personal. Like so many women, I’m navigating the realities of motherhood, building BECCO, raising four children, facing the questions and changes that come with perimenopause, and carrying the very real fear of what Alzheimer’s has already touched in my own life… and what it could mean for my future.
What makes being here even more meaningful is how I got here. On a flight home from San Francisco, a woman sitting near me asked about my BECCO bag. After the flight, she looked me up, reached out, and shared that she was helping organize this event and was looking for women-owned businesses for the marketplace. She had no idea how deeply connected I already was to this movement—or what this invitation would mean to me.
Sometimes life places you exactly where you’re meant to be. Today I’m here not just as a founder, but as a woman, a mom, and someone committed to helping move these conversations forward. 💙
