Hi everyone who has requested my services while I lived here in Avon from 2019 to present day. I’ve enjoyed each and everyone of you. Doing alterations has been my passion since I was 14 years old and I still enjoy it but I am moving to Hutchinson to be closer to my family.

Another beautiful bride marched down the aisle in July in her simple but elegant dress. It needed shortening to 4 layers and a bustle. The train was formed into a French bustle with 1 button/ribbon fastener and 16 bustle ties. A flattering look on this type of dress.
She is simply gorgeous!

When my customers come for Alterations, I always ask if they would like to be in my Facebook posting. And when they say yes, I make a point of showing them on Facebook. This gal who was a bridesmaid in September was missed in my previous posting. So she gets her own post.
She is a girl right here in my neighborhood and her dress required only shortening of the length and the length of a ties. She looks absolutely beautiful.

This stunning bride, whose dress fit her perfectly just needed shortening to the length. I shortened two layers of satin and trimmed three sheer layers. I took her bustle up with three hook fasteners to the outside of the dress and then I added four bustle under ties to pull up the remainder of the length.  She is ready for the special day!

This summer bride chose this, flattering to her figure gown that gave her comfort and ease of movement . It required 2 layers hemmed and a bustle for her train. I took it up with ribbon/button points and 9 ties to give her the French bustle she desired.
Simply gorgeous!
