My projects are created in one of two ways: 1) I see a pattern or yarn that I love and I HAVE TO MAKE SOMETHING! or 2) someone gives me a special order for a specific item/person/occasion. Finally getting to porch knitting season AND realizing its time to plan and apply for winter vendor events has my head 🥴.

I've been sweater knitting all spring. I need to switch gears after this sweater and get to some hats and mittens (?).

But what do you think of this simple stitch pattern for a hat? I think it could work in different yarn weights and colors. I have a few different simple ideas this year.

This past Saturday was both LYS Day and Independent Bookstore Day and I could not want to celebrate anything more than the convergence of these things. Unfortunately, mom schedule said Not This Year!
