“Why are you selling your clothes for $7?”

Because we are changing directions.

We started Hodijo a few months before the Covid Pandemic shut down everything. Especially hard hit were gyms, yoga studios and other fitness facilities that were closed by government mandates. (The exact customers we had in mind when we started the brand.) A lot of this isn’t coming back. People are working out at home and outside, or not at all.

Our main interest has always been in encouraging Christians toward lives of Hope Discipline and Joy. So, in 2022 we are moving away from fitness wear toward witness wear.

This change opens the door for great values for our customers, as we are selling our fitness clothing for at, or below our costs.

Hodijo comes from the words Hope, Discipline and Joy.

For us, these three words capture what it means to live a Christian life. We approach everything with the promised Hope for a better life. We act on that Hope with the Discipline to believe and try. As a result, we receive abundant Joy all along the way.

Hodijo is our approach to life, relationships, health and business. It is both a process and the mysterious gift from above that adds meaning to our lives. It only made sense that we would name our line of gear for the active Christian lifestyle Hodijo.

The Hodijo logo is an image of the transformative power we receive when we trust in Christ. It is inspired by the tongues of fire that came to rest on the very first Christians and filled them with the Holy Spirit.
