In honor of graduation 🎓 season and since today is my one & only son Legend 8th birthday. I figure I share this!

True Story:
•
My pregnancy with my son was the most complicated experience ever. My hips were popping out of place so I was forced to get induced just before the semester was over. It was my junior year of undergrad and I refused to take a semester off. I got induced and spent 27 hours in hard labor. I had him on a Saturday and my last final was on Monday! I begged my doctor to release us so that I could take my final. He was totally against it, but Legend was healthy and passed all his test. I crammed the entire night and Monday took my fat ass across UMD campus and walked into my final. I not only passed my final, but I survived that semester and managed to graduate on time the following year.

I say this to say, anyone, or any mother that often times feel like you just can’t do it. Yes you can! I felt like I was going to give up so many times. Spent my entire junior year running out of lectures to vomit, skipping some lectures because I just couldn’t take it and crying in my car because I was soo fu***ng sleepy but I had to be in class! Don’t make excuses and don’t let life win. Whatever obstacles are thrown your way, knock them out! I never once complained, I was on a mission and did whatever I had to do to succeed!
SN: My crazy tail self had the nerve to get pregnant and end up having my youngest daughter my final year of Grad school 😅 but I Mastered it && on time 🙃
