When I say all my shirts are hand made it means they are all different and this shirt gives me so much to play with. I'm always trying new things and playing with the ways my different bleach mixtures and spraying techniques work together.

I've been working on this piece for about a week... It's a vintage denim jacket which was hand dyed by an artist who abandoned it along with other works in the The CopyCat Building loading dock (IYKYK) Handmade patches by me with embroidery hand stitching. All in all I don't want to sell it... but I'm going to put a $250 price on it and if someone thinks it's that cool then I will part with it. But I'm totally happy to keep this as a show piece.

No matter what, it's a good day when you finish up a piece and it turns out exactly the way you want. This is a hand dyed vintage denim jacket found at The CopyCat Building and then upcycled with my patches. I'm going to do the front and put a ridiculous price on it... if it doesn't sell I will be happy to keep it as a show piece.

For a number of years during the early 2000's I shot the resurgence of Burlesque in Baltimore with old film cameras and then processed and printed the photographs. Now I've taken these photos and printed them onto a printable vinyl. I then heat seal that to fabric creating large patches which I then sew onto a quality tote bag creating a unique piece of functional art. It has taken me a looong time to find the right materials and the skills to create this.

I've taken a pen and ink drawing I did and printed it onto a printable vinyl. I then heat seal that to fabric creating large patches which I then sew onto a hand dyed tote bag, creating a unique piece of functional art. It has taken me a looong time to find the right materials and the skills to create this.

I am so torn as to whether or not I can sell this... When I am making something I am going to sell I have to make myself stop at some point, thinking about how much $ I can get for the energy I am putting into it. Sometimes I just say f**kit... and pour so much energy into something that I just can't ask people to pay what that is worth. These are all hand painted designs that I scanned in and printed onto a vinyl, heat sealed onto fabric, hand sewn onto the bag with other accents painted directly onto the bag. I have spent 2 years developing these techniques and with this bag alone taking an entire day to just put it together... so I think I should keep it... but I have other bags...
