Many thanks to my friend Mark Means, who has slowly been selling me his childhood over the past four or five years. ZZ Top is my favorite band, as many of you know and he graciously sold me a copy of their very first record to add to my ever-growing Texas Top collection. He also threw in a couple of great bonuses. Yes, I could have shelled out for one on eBay, but to me, it's much better to come across special records like this in the wild. It's also pretty sweet that I suspect he bought these at Cactus Records in Houston...too freaking cool. 😎🎸
