Art has always been the foundation of Zavia Walker, and as we enter this new chapter, I’m returning to the very thing that started it all: creating original artwork.

This new season is about giving you the opportunity to bring my art into your world, in ways that feel personal, intentional, and uniquely yours.

Imagine original Zavia Walker artwork transformed into wallpaper for your dining room, statement rugs, upholstered chairs, cushions, bedding, textiles, fashion, and beautiful everyday objects. You choose the surface. I create the art. Together, we make something extraordinary.

For those who prefer to experience art in its purest form, original paintings will also be available for purchase. Some collections will remain entirely exclusive, with the original artwork never reproduced as prints or products.

We’re also opening the door to creative collaborations.

We’re looking to connect with fashion designers seeking distinctive fabrics and prints, interior designers sourcing original artwork and bespoke home furnishings, art collectors, curators, gallery owners, and creative visionaries who appreciate the beauty of originality.

A LITTLE BRIDAL MAGIC ON THE CAPE!

Throwing it back to summer and one of my favorite moments from Cape Cod Fashion Week! Cape Cod Fashion Week

The minute I found out Satchid Offical would be walking in my segment, I knew IMMEDIATELY that I wanted her to be my bride! Her gorgeous natural curls, beautiful skin, everything about her just screamed effortless bridal beauty. I could already see the vision!

And here she is, wearing Zavia Walker.

For this look, I wanted something simple, romantic, a little sexy, and perfect for a Cape Cod or destination wedding.

The dress features delicate tie-shoulder straps, a flattering silhouette, and a flirty thigh-high slit that gives just the right amount of leg!

I styled her with a delicate birdcage veil, layered pearls, and drop earrings to complete the bridal look. And because we’re on Cape Cod, where beachside weddings are part of the charm, we skipped the heels for simple flat sandals. Who says a bride needs heels anyway?

What I love most about this dress is its versatility! Think intimate beach wedding, rehearsal dinner, reception outfit change, or even a honeymoon look. And it’s available in classic white or any of my signature prints featured on the website!

Introducing Green Goddess Bush.

Growing up in Jamaica, we had what we called the bush. If you’re Jamaican, you know exactly what I’m talking about.

You might hear your aunt say, “Go carry the goat down a bush,” or you might be heading into the bush to pick fruits, farm, or simply explore.

And oh, how beautiful it was!

Lush greenery as far as the eyes could see. Mango trees, coconut trees, apple trees, and every kind of tree you could imagine. We’d climb them, pick fruits, eat to our hearts’ content, and yes, I’ve fallen out of a few trees in my lifetime! 😂

I remember walking through the bush as a shortcut to one of my aunt’s houses. There were so many beautiful trees along the way, and that memory has stayed with me all these years.

When I first started painting Green Goddess Bush, I was thinking about those walks. The mango trees, the layers of green, the wildness of it all. The same kind of lush greenery that surrounds our rivers and makes the Jamaican countryside so beautiful.

And slowly, those memories found their way onto my canvas.

Green Goddess Bush is my interpretation of those childhood memories. A little piece of Jamaica, a little piece of home, and a whole lot of green.

I’m so happy to finally share her with you.

So when I chose the Negril print as this year’s Cape Cod Fashion Week front runner, I knew immediately I wanted to paint on denim and so I approached Thrift Ave 😍 And we also painted on some of their shirts. This collaboration meant so much to me because Lance & Brandy have been so great to me and this was my way of honoring them. You can shop these pieces exclusively at 606 Main in Hyannis. Country Fowl

This 20 x 24 acrylic painting is inspired by my childhood growing up in the Jamaican countryside — waking up to the sounds of fowls, chickens and roosters in the morning, running around after them, feeding them, and seeing all the little signs they left behind throughout the yard. Those everyday memories became part of the landscape of home for me.

I built this piece with layers of color — olives, soft pinks, different greens, earthy browns and more — and finished it with gold foil leaves that catch the light beautifully.

Country Fowl is a true one-of-one original. It will not be reproduced as a print, so the person who purchases it will own the only version of this artwork.

Negril was made for fun.

The print is full of deep ocean blues, turquoise, painterly white, and little flashes of color that feel like water, sunshine, and island energy all mixed together. On this skater silhouette, it feels playful and easy — fitted through the top, defined at the waist, then opening into a skirt that moves beautifully on different body shapes.

Styled here with black sunglasses and boots, the look feels cool, carefree, and a little unexpected. The kind of dress you wear on vacation for brunch, an art walk, cocktails, a festival, dinner by the water, or just wandering around somewhere beautiful with nowhere urgent to be.
