Meet Sarah! First time shopper, who came with her mom, a regular. We LOVE when you bring friends and family! And this is why! A second lap around the shop was just what they needed to find the rubber chicken! 🐔 And we all had such a good laugh and conversation. Why do I know Sarah's name? Not because we did the simple pleasantries but she was kind enough to send an email to follow-up on some connection with rubber chickens and hockey. Who knew!?

To say I love my job is an understatement. I'm so fortunate to do this every day. I get to dig for amazing treasures, work with awesome vendors, and meet some of the best customers ❤️

Our rubber chicken is on break until September. Until then, keep your hands to yourself and buy yourself a treasure 🧺

PS. Sarah, you are the best kind of dork and I'm so glad I didn't get to this post right away!

Our vendor of the month is a twofer! ✌🏼August goes to husband and wife, Dave and Cindy of Gathered Vintage Treasures ! An early retirement for Dave meant they could chase their dreams a little sooner, and we're all glad they did. You might find hubby solo in the shop during the week, but if you think he's talking to himself (and let's be real we all do) it's likely just the wifey on video call approving his work. And when Cindy isn't working her full time gig or approving booth moves, she's likely at the sewing machine whipping up beautiful pieces from vintage fabrics and beat up old quilts. I'm giving extra kudos for not being afraid to bring in the big stuff too.

Please give them a hand, they certainly deserve it 👏🏼
