I have a story to share, but certain details must remain confidential. However, I must express admiration for one of the girls from My Refuge Girl's Night Out. A family I know is struggling, comprising a husband, wife, and young son, with the mother due to give birth soon. I shared their story during our discussion on gratitude, followed by a prayer session. Afterwards, one of my nine-year-old girls approached me, offering two dollars and requesting that I purchase necessities for the baby. This selfless act has deeply touched my heart.

MyRefuge/Sparrows Closet needs! Current list includes toothbrushes, men’s deodorant, women’s deodorant, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, kids wash, baby lotion, baby wash, adult lotion, and toilet paper. Those of you do not know what Sparrow‘s closet is. It’s a children’s clothing closet and hygiene closet that is supported through my Refuge. We work alongside foster care, DHS and other agencies in town for those who are in need.
