Here’s to strong native women. May we know them, may we be them, may we continue to raise them❤️🪶

So excited to showcase what this brand’s mission is for! Native women finding contemporary fashion and business attire to represent their cultural identity without distracting from what they’re presenting or speaking on. Women Empowering Women Indigenous Nations is a premier conference that I am beyond thankful to attend! Mvto for the opportunity and to the friends that continue to help grow RedBird Renditions presence. ❤️ creator is showing through in this season. 🙌🏽

We support TEK not more tech 🤌🏽

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation has become a prominent example of Tribal sovereignty in action after its National Council voted down a proposal to rezone approximately 5,500 acres of Tribal-owned agricultural and hunting land for a proposed technology park that supporters said could host future AI-related development.

The proposal sparked months of discussion throughout the Nation. Supporters argued it could bring economic development and new opportunities, while opponents raised concerns about protecting agricultural land, hunting areas, and ensuring community voices remained central to decisions affecting Tribal lands.

Following extensive public debate, the National Council voted against the rezoning proposal, bringing the project to an end.

The campaign also drew national attention. Community organizers Jordan Harmon and Mackenzie Roberts were later featured on the cover of TIME magazine’s The People vs. AI issue for their leadership during the grassroots effort.

The outcome highlights a fundamental principle of Tribal sovereignty: Indigenous Nations have the authority to decide how their own lands are managed and developed.

Tribal sovereignty means Tribal Nations decide their own future—what are your thoughts? 🪶

Stella Oske told me to make whatever… so here’s whatever 🤣. A sundress pattern my nana used for me around her age, on some thrifted fabric bringing all the Y2K summer beachy mall store vibes🌊

Her favorite part of modeling this year was making a new bff, and sharing her hair jewels and sparkles with everyone.🩵

Brittany Johnson showcased our signature tshirt we gotta throw in every show. Fashion is political and a space for advocacy, I’ll stand by that. Tradition is your competitive advantage in every workplace. Tribal or non. You’re put in rooms for reasons, and don’t ever lose sense of that. 🙌🏽

Also, it wouldn’t be Y2Keen without a LISA FRANK BODY CON SKIRT! I’ve had this fabric stashed away forever. It’s comfy, cute, and I wish I had 10 more yards of it! 🥹

Also, peep the dress shirt in one of the other photos 👀 subtle cover for the big statement. Representing walking two worlds.

La’a had her modeling debut with me and I’m so honored that was up to rocking this fit! She did AMAZING and everything fit perfect 🥹❤️ I absolutely am already planning so many looks so she can do some photo shoots for us, give this sweet girly all the modeling opportunities! She is a natural!

This top is from a Lizzie McGuire McCalls pattern circa 2004/5 ish. I remember marking those looks in my nana’s pattern catalog wanting ALL the Lizzie inspired fashions.

Indigenizing Disney channel iconic fashion right here! The jeans are up-cycled, with up-cycled overlay. The top is made from Sophia Lynn Thurman’s fabric designed for Teton Trade Cloth by Lenape.
