Merry Christmas 🤍☕
Sometimes the greatest gift we can give ourselves is permission:
to slow down, to breathe, to refill our cup — spiritually, emotionally...

No expectations. No pressure.
Just coffee, snacks, cozy blankets, and cheesy movies —
a slow, soul-restoring day poured gently into myself.

Joy doesn’t always come wrapped in tradition.
Sometimes it’s quiet.
Sometimes it’s unconventional.
Sometimes it’s exactly what your soul needs.

Wherever you are today, may you find peace in whatever
your Christmas looks like this year.
And may your cup — in every sense — be filled.

I didn’t start this garden until July.
As I gather this last harvest, I’m reminded—it’s never too late. 🌱

The plan was to start much earlier.
But grief has a way of slowing you down and pulling you close to what matters.
In those quiet, hot mornings—with my hands in the dirt and my heart heavy from watching my mother-in-law slip away—I found peace here.
While managing the emotions of having a rising high school senior.
While trying to understand this new season of change in my own body.
While grieving. Growing. Letting go.

This is why I call my garden my sanctuary.
A space to cry, to pray, to listen.
To hear from God—not just about what is happening around me, but what’s happening in me.

The pastor’s words in this video said it best: sometimes we wait on God to show up, but sometimes… we have to go seek Him. And when we do, we’re not just healed.
We’re made whole. 🙏🏾🌻
