Friends! Proud to announce that we will be back hosting a third edition of the Collective Charity Classic. We’re just over 3 months away from a great day of fundraising at West Lake CC. Last year we raised $12k that went directly to First Tee-Augusta!

I am currently serving my second year as a board member for FTA and it has been such a pleasure to learn about the impact and importance of this program in our community. I have shadowed some of the coaches first-hand and gotten to know the folks behind the scenes and it is truly inspiring to see the amount of passion that goes into it. Changing lives and directly affecting the direction of those lives through the game we all love. We sure hope to see you come out and support.

Shoot me a DM here or send over an email if you’re interested in registering. Trying to exceed our donation from last year so come on out for a great day at West Lake!

Excited to partner with these guys who have a great vision in mind for the direction of this junior tour. Give them a follow and stay tuned!

We’re excited to announce our first partnership with Augusta Golf Collective!

As fellow junior golfers who grew up playing together in the Augusta area, this partnership is especially meaningful. We’re proud to work with a local business owned by someone who shares our passion for the game and commitment to growing golf within our community.

We are thrilled to embrace this partnership as ADJGA continues taking important steps toward becoming a junior golf association and expanding opportunities for young golfers to Develop, Compete, and Excel in the game.

For all your golf apparel and accessories be sure to check out Augusta Golf Collective and support a great local business. We’re grateful for their support and look forward to what we can accomplish together.

Be sure to follow along with these guys. Excited for a great local junior tour to develop!

Hello CSRA!

Our names are Will Carswell and Mathew Price. Twenty years ago, we were two junior golfers who shared a love for the game. As life moved forward, we lost touch and went our separate ways.

Fast forward 20 years, and by chance we reconnected during opening weekend at The Patch. After a great round of golf and even better conversation, we quickly realized we shared the same passion—not only for the game of golf, but for investing in the next generation of golfers.

That conversation sparked an idea that has now become the Augusta Development Junior Golf Association (ADJGA).

ADJGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to making golf more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable for youth ages 6–18. Our mission is to help young athletes develop character, confidence, leadership, and life skills through the game of golf while providing opportunities to learn, compete, and excel.

We believe golf is more than a game—it’s a tool that teaches discipline, integrity, perseverance, and respect. Through camps, clinics, tournaments, mentorship, and community partnerships, we are committed to creating opportunities for young golfers throughout the CSRA.

We are excited to begin this journey and look forward to building something special for our community and its future leaders.

The cream rises to the top whenever a club’s member-guest rolls around and this one at Victoria National was an outstanding experience. Every single member of the staff was incredibly friendly and set the tone for the week, excellent job to them. The golf course was in picture perfect shape and the greens were absolutely up there with the best of the best.

Consistently ranked a US top 100, this Tom Fazio design taps into his signature artistry and actually provides one of the most brutal tests of golf I’ve encountered. Hitting the fairway is always important, but here it is an absolute must. The greens were average in size and addictingly fun to putt on once aboard.

What stood out the most to me, aside from losing a million golf balls, was the size of the piece of property. Built on an old strip mine, every hole was isolated to its own bubble. Not many crossing sight lines and if you missed far enough, you were not finding another hole’s fairway. Fazio is unbelievable with a canvas as expansive as this one.

From arrival to departure, truly an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail by the staff combined with an unbelievable venue made for a special stay. Came up just short on winning flight one but 99 holes in 4 days, mixed in with some good times, will always feel like a win regardless.

It’s almost hard to believe this facility is on the same piece of property that it was before. If you’re familiar, then you remember the 6 hole course at First Tee next door and the fenced tree line that separated the two. The new driving range sits where most of those holes were before. That decision to unite the muni and First Tee into one campus is one that will benefit the community for as long as it’s there!

As for the course, very fun and very playable. You can see bits and pieces of the old course throughout which is awesome. But the vistas of seeing miles of Augusta in different directions makes the property really stand out. The greens are super firm which is expected with new greens but once they soften up, there will be ample amounts of scoring opportunities. We managed to land a tee time on a Wednesday afternoon and as a local, paid $38 to ride 18. It has been at least 10+ years since I paid that for a round of golf at a place where the ball at least rolls on the greens!

Similar to the original patch, the greens have mostly remained small, and the bump & run shot is still a good weapon to have in the arsenal. There is a fun variety of lengthy par fours and driveable fours to keep the round exciting. For a muni, I don’t think it gets much better than what we now have here in Augusta. Hats off to the folks at ANGC for delivering something special yet again 👏

A 2005 Tom Fazio course that is mighty high up on our list of favorite visits. Building off of the lowcountry vibes from Colleton River, Fred amplifies those same characteristics with a signature coastal Georgia spin. There are few better experiences than arriving to St. Simons, making a worthy pit stop .soul.bbq for lunch and then heading to one of the fine golf clubs on the island.

The front nine gives you some brutally long fours, an exciting pair of fives, and not a ton of demand off the tee. The greens are very generous and though finding the putting surface from the approach is great, could still leave a lot of work to be done. The back nine switches gears a bit and plays considerably shorter than the front. The trade off here is water comes in to play on 7/9 holes. A great routing through an expansive piece of property and always gives an exciting challenge.

After the round in the locker room, Rockit filled us in on a lot of history from the early days of the club. An unbelievable amount of sand was brought in to create the base of the 300+ acre facility. Over a thousand live oaks were transplanted and moved around. If you didn’t know it, you’d think the terrain and most trees are natural. It’s always an awesome visit here and this time around was no different!
