Just letting you know that I’m doing great with this new chapter called RETIREMENT !
I have 37 years of wonderful memories and now it’s time to make new ones outside the doors of The Boutique.
Thank you to everyone who came into my life because you taught me what to do but more importantly, what not to do . I watched & listened everyday , all day even when I wasn’t at my store. My mind was always thinking about you and The Boutique. I always wanted my customers to feel special , beautiful and appreciated because that’s how you always made me feel . I got up everyday ready to spend the days/nights with you dressed from head to toe with hair & makeup because you deserved the best I could be .
You will always be in my heart because we grew up together with 4 generations shopping with me ( some 5 generations).
Thank you for sharing your families and memories with me because I lived vicariously thru each one of you with all your events, parties, concerts, weddings , etc . I picked out what I would wear only you wore it better !
This is not a goodbye because you know I’m too hyper, active, social, and animated to disappear from you !
Thanks again for the most awesome 37 years of my life !!!

As I’m sitting here in an empty store on my last day EVER, I can’t help but think about all of the memories I have here…
It’s a bittersweet moment knowing when I walk out today The Boutique is now a memory..
I grew up here, I met my bestfriends here, I met my husband here (the flowers, IYKYK 😉) and I had/gained the two most beautiful children while H E R E 🫶🏼

“When you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life” couldn’t be more true, I truly LOVED being here.

Thank you to Mrs. Tammy for taking a leap of faith in that little 18 year old that walked in the door and continuing to believe that I could do it, for teaching me everything you know and for being such a light in the Fashion industry.. for all of the words of wisdom (even when I didn’t want to hear it)
Not many people can do what we do and I have to say we are D A M N G O O D at it.

Thank you to all of our customers that also believed in that little wild child teen and also to yall for the words of wisdom (I also did nottttt want to hear 😜) I will truly and forever say that The Boutique customers are the B E S T in the WORLD 🫶🏼

And lastly, I’m sorry to everyone that I may have let down by not taking over, but everything happens for a reason and God has his plan for me.
