As you roll the windows down, you notice your breathing slow. It’s just a memory now, but in a few hours it will be all around you.
North.
Where lights dance among the stars and moonlight shimmers across the lake. Where forests are deep enough to get lost in, and blooms are swept away in the breeze.
Lucky visitors catch glimpses of snowshoe hare, fox, coyote, makwa, fawn, painted turtle, and Polyphemus moth. Pathways wind through trails you’ll want to remember long after you’ve left.
And as you press the gas pedal a little harder, all you can think about is north.
