Hey vintage family! 🐚 It’s officially August, which means our annual vacation countdown has begun! We’re also celebrating our 600th Etsy sale !! 🎉 We still have some gorgeous coastal treasures in the shop, like this curated collection of Florida seashells, which is probably my favorite listing of the season so far!

Ranging from quarter-sized to palm-sized, this mix includes scallops, slipper snails, tritons, cones, banded tulips, murex, Atlantic giant cockles, tellins, Florida fighting conchs, a starfish, and more… plus a *bonus* faux sand dollar to tie it all together! Truly a lovely combination of “a little bit of everything”! 🩵

The apothecary jar stands about 10.5” tall (including the lid) and is about 8” in diameter, likely made by Anchor Hocking. Beautiful as a display piece for the shells, or repurposed in a totally different way!

—> Introduced by Libbey Glass in the 1950s, this pattern - also known as Silver Leaf - was discontinued in the 1970s. Each glass stands 5.5” tall and hold approximately 8 ounces.

Hey vintage family! Apparently May 27th is National Grape Day.. Typically, I think these “National Holiday”things are absolute silliness, but when I went searching for confirmation of today’s celebration, I fell down a grape rabbit hole. As it turns out, they’re a fairly interesting fruit, carrying endless health benefits, agricultural importance, and widespread cultural significance… Plus, I learned that they’re believed to be one of the oldest cultivated plants on earth. It goes without saying that we love old things around here 😆 So, in honor of my newfound grape appreciation, I found some treasures in our store that represent today’s theme 🤭 Anddd that’s how I ended up rambling to you all this afternoon!

This jaw dropping jug, signed by the artist, originates from the Manufacture de Saint-Jean du Désert in Marseille, France, and it is every bit as lovely in person as it appears in photos! The pastoral countryside scene transports you back to provincial times and makes the world seem still for a moment.

Hand painted by Émile Long, this treasure is an extraordinary example of French faience, full of warmth, history, and story. We believe it dates from the 1920s to the 1950s, but if you happen to know more, please feel free to correct us. ;)
