Resurfacing and road widening are two different things. And the proposed project list includes
real examples of both.

Widening SC 170 from US 278 to SC 462 is budgeted at $103.8 million to add capacity.
Resurfacing Fording Island Road (US 278) from SC 170 to the Hilton Head Island bridge is
budgeted at $27.1 million to repave and preserve the existing corridor. Same goal (safer,
smoother roads) but different approaches.

May abundant blessings reach all the seamstresses who work with love and dedication every day.
May they never lack clients, fabrics for creating, or reasons to smile.
May God bless their hands, their talent, and every stitch they make.
May all the effort they put into their work bear fruit and bring prosperity and peace of mind.
And may they never forget how valuable they are and how beautiful the art in their hands truly is. 🧵🙏❤️
