Painting: The True Red, White, & Blue… ✝️ by. Mykesha Wolfe

This is not your typical Red, White & Blue. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

With all respect to Independence Day, this portrait carries a deeper freedom for me—the freedom I’ve found through my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The red in this painting represents the blood He shed when they pierced His side. The blue is for the water that poured out with it. And the white? That’s for the miracle of grace—the cleansing that turns our scarlet sins white as snow (Isaiah 1:18).

This isn’t just paint. It’s worship. It’s testimony. It’s a reminder that true freedom was bought with a price. So while others celebrate fireworks and flags, I’m lifting up the One who gave us eternal liberty.

Let this be a visual prayer. A reminder. A declaration:
Jesus is the reason I’m free.

Do you remember when you were younger and this was told to you?

“Kindness goes a long way.”

Well I do. I remember it and it stayed with me till this day. I would be kind because it brought joy not only to the person I was joyful with but also to me.

Just to see a frown turn upside down into a smile and just to hear laughter after crying tears of heartache.

Your kindness goes a long way.

Sometimes we don’t realize it until one day someone says,

“Hey, thank you for being so kind to me, I was on the verge of su***de and because you were the only person who spoke to me and not judge me, that gave me hope.”

You just never know what people may be going through but your “Good morning” or warm smile or a simple “hello”, can change someone’s stormy day into a day filled with sunshine and hope.

This reminds me of the scripture: “Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted,
forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.”
Ephesians 4:32
