Most of what I do is make bridal dress dreams come true.
This dress needed taken in on the sides, hemmed, bustled, and a sweet embroidery for her father who left this earth entirely too early four months ago.
When the dress is perfect the bride feels confident, comfortable, and ready to celebrate.

Some projects are small and big at the same time. A zipper that came apart on a bag with high sentimental value. Easily fixed, reinforced, and sent back out in to the world to be used and bring joy.

I am honored to have the opportunity to work on so many beautiful bridal gowns. This one required an expert hand, and a lot of time.
Removing three yards of tall chandelier lace to hem the front by 8 inches took an entire work day. Reshaping the bodice at the princess seams to reduce the cup shape required lace removal, boning re-shaping, and 4 layers that each had to be altered.
The result is a perfect fit allowing the bride to move freely without worry of slippage or gapping.
The mark of a well designed bustle is that the train (aaaaallll of the train)is off the ground and even with the front.
