💜 Where are my snake eye and greasy green turquoise lovers? 💟

💜 What a GORGEOUS pair of handcrafted vintage Native American Navajo sterling silver and snake eye turquoise dangle earrings on French hooks! The untreated natural turquoise displays colors ranging from a true turquoise to a bit of greasy green color that indicates they have some age to them. All stones are set solid in their sawtooth bezels. The stones are outlined with a twisted wire design. Native American earrings, including those with turquoise, often carry cultural and spiritual significance, symbolizing elements like wealth, status, and spirituality within tribal traditions. These earrings are extremely well made, but they are not a heavy and could easily be worn on a daily basis. They measure a wee bit longer than 2” which includes the bale. Fire agate is known for its iridescent, multicolored flashes that resemble flames, caused by layers of iron oxide and silica. The ring's setting is handcrafted with a decorative, wavy edge and rope-like detailing around the stone. 💜 This is a Taxco made sterling silver and orange spiny oyster cabochon (block) pendant. Spiny oysters are found at depths between 35 and 300 feet, attached to rocky reefs, from Baja California to Ecuador. The pendant has an oval shaped cabochon that is set east to west. The pendant's design includes a twisted wire border around the stone and decorative silver balls at the base. It was made in 1978, but I’ve been unable to identify the silversmith. The pendant has a nice size bale so you could use a decent size of sterling beads to hang this beauty on. 🥰

💜 This cuff has a little bit of everything. It is a multi-wire and metal Native American cuff. It is a classic design frequently handcrafted by Navajo silversmiths Franklin and Verna Tahe. This vintage cuff features a multi-band layout where individual silver wires are soldered together securely at the ends. The centerpiece highlights parallel twisted wire and rope filigree layers flanked by smooth, rounded outer sterling silver guard rails. This particular style is iconic to and frequently attributed to acclaimed Navajo artisan families like Franklin and Verna Tahe. It measures 5 1/8” end to end, has a 1 1/4” gap, does have some flex to it, measures 3/4” wide, and weighs 38 grams. It is stamped “Sterling” and “1/20 12K GF.” It is not hallmarked “Tahe,” but I’ve seen the same cuff hallmarked as such.
