Ralphie is putting the finishing touches on a swivel rocker that he's reupholstering with denim. Strips are cut from old jeans (yes, they're washed...) then stitched together to make the fabric to cover. This one is almost out the door.

Have not posted in a long while. Been very busy between natural disasters. Will post more later. But here’s something adorable. I made this bear for fun and Ralphie, shop and life partner, made the tote from upcycled fabric. Together cuteness overload. Ralphie is making a bunch of totes letting his creativity fly!

It’s always been a little bit of a joke when I tell my brides that their gowns are safe when they leave them with me. I tell them they are literally “safe”. I have a bank vault. My shop was originally a bank built in 1907.

Well this weather is no joke. Gowns are in the vault and I’m ready to join them if the worst happens.

Funny how some trees are filled with so many memories. This one will be missed.

Love my shop and work. But doing this for a living would be a second option. This dress takes a village of artists and a very well off client. Zendaya possibly? She has been killing the red carpet lately. She is a fashion plate come to life.
