Just finished this donation quilt last night. It's my first finished project for 2026 and extra special. My Godmother taught me to quilt and passed away 5 years ago. I inherited all of her quilting fabric, which included 2 unfinished projects. She was a member of the Sewing Ministry at her church and they'd make these "simple & quick" panel/whole piece quilts to donate to the children's wing at the local hospital. I decided 2026 is the year I finally finish them for her. Cried a few times through the process, but it's done and I know she's happy. ❤️
