This is your friendly reminder that if you have wooden spoons, like these olive wood spoons and spatulas, it’s time to oil them up so they don’t dry out and crack or split.

I add oil, rub it in really well, let them set for 20 minutes and then put on more oil. I then let them set and let the oil soak in before giving them a quick warm water rinse to get rid of excess oil. I let them dry and put them away and use a normal.
I do this every other month or so to help keep my wooden utensils from breaking and drying out.
