Seems like we’re always posting the lemonade & snow cones and forgetting about one of the best things on the menu…the mini donuts!

A fan favorite from what I hear 👀😉
Cinnamon sugar, apple c***r, cookies & cream, salted caramel, pumpkin spice + our new (and delicious) birthday cake!

Set up at a block party tonight for one last summer hooray, but the season isn’t over yet!

Just a little reminder to be kind to your small business owners! 🙌🏼💛

I think unless you own a business yourself or are close to someone who does, it’s hard to truly understand how much goes on behind the scenes.

There are long days, late nights, stress, planning, messages, unexpected problems and a million little things that most people will never see. And while owning a business can be so rewarding, it can also be really hard sometimes.

At the end of the day, there is still a person behind every business. Someone who cares about what they do, takes pride in their work and is probably putting more pressure on themselves than anyone else ever could.

Not everything is going to go perfectly every single time. Mistakes happen. Plans change. Things go wrong. We’re alllll human, whether there’s a business name attached to us or not. A little patience, understanding and kindness can go a long way!

But with the hard days come some really good ones too. The returning customers, kind messages, recommendations and familiar faces are what make all of those long days worth it 🙌🏼

Small business owners believe in their community and that’s why we do it. We choose to build something in the places we call home because we believe in what our community can be. And small businesses can only continue to grow when the community around them chooses to believe in them, too.

That doesn’t mean you have to spend money with every local business or support everything they do. Sometimes support is simply choosing local when you can, recommending someone when their service comes up, sharing a name or giving a little grace when someone makes a mistake.

Your support goes a long way. Whether you’re a silent supporter or you support loudly, we appreciate the both of you.

We have so many amazing small businesses right here in and around Bellevue, and I wanted to do a little more than just make an appreciation post.

The Sip & Shop is putting together a Small Business Appreciation Giveaway filled with items and goodies from different local businesses around Bellevue! 🌊💐🛍️

It’s my little way of supporting some of the people who have chosen to build something right here in our community and giving some of that support back to all of you at the same time!

Until then, be kind, support local when you can and remember that behind every small business is someone who took a chance on their community 😉

Little change of plans for tonight! 🌧️

With the weather looking a little iffy and some of tonight’s plans being postponed, I’ve decided to sit this one out rather than chance the storms!

Hopefully this is just a rain check and we can make it back to River Ridge Brewery for the rescheduled End of Summer Bash! 🙌🏼

I’ll keep you posted on where The Sip & Shop is headed next! 💛
