After my leggings dilemma the other day, I cranked out a few more fall/winter tops for myself which reminded me I had to finish some sweatpants for my girls that I started 2 months ago!! Oops! 😬 Literally just need to add elastic and I’m done. To be fair, we haven’t needed sweats lately since the weather has still been fairly warm. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyone else have projects 99% done? This is what happens when you don’t sew clothes for awhile; you forget that pants and shorts need 4-way stretch fabric. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I found this super cute Houndstooth fabric in the remnants bin at Walmart. I made the Urban Legs (cropped version) by Ellie and Mac Sewing Patterns hoping to make a fun fall outfit and well… it didn’t work - not enough stretch. The waist band barely went over my butt cheek. 😆 I was able to get a dress out of it though. 🤷‍♀️ They would have been so cute too! Oh well. You win some and you lose some. Back to the drawing board.

After my post the other day about my Grinch Christmas countdown, a cousin reached out to me asking for a grinch themed quilt/blanket. So, here I am sewing up the Chelsea Swindle Throw Back quilt.
