When someone walks into this space and immediately feels like they need to protect themselves by saying, “I’m just looking” it breaks my heart because what I really hear them saying is that in the places they’re used to shopping, they’re accustomed to staff being pushy and only trying to make a sale. And I get it, that sounds annoying!
